The Health o meter 553KL baby scale has a large, stable weighing tray with raised edges for comfort and safety. The 553KL is Health o meter’s most popular infant scale. The scale weighs in kilograms and pounds/ounces, which display in the 1″ LCD readout. With its built-in measuring tape, the Health o meter 553KL scale measures babies up to 24″ (58 cm); and the scale features motion sensing technology. The scale has Waterproof On/Off, Delete, Zero/Clear (Tare), Hold/Release and kg/lb buttons, as well as auto-off, auto-zero and low-battery indicator. The Health o meter 553KL baby scale is powered by 6 AA batteries that are included with every scale. The scale can also operate with the optional ADPT30 power adapter that is available.
The Health o meter 553KL baby fits in the 553CASE, which is available separately to transport the scale in the field. The optional 553KLEHR digital baby measuring rod or the 553KLHR mechanical measuring rod simply snaps onto the scale to make this a comprehensive weighing and measuring device.
The scale is also available in a KG-only model (553KG).
