The seca 703 column scale weighs and measures small children through obese patients. The scale has a very high 660 lbs (300 kg) capacity, and is available with or without a height measuring rod that measures up to 78 inches / 200 cm. The seca 703 automatically determines the BMI from the patient’s weight and height. The results can transmit wirelessly to a printer or EMR systems. With the time-saving TARE function, also known as the mother/child-function, weighs a child in its parent’s arms. The previously stored parent weight is subtracted so that only the weight of the child displays.
The seca 703 scales are available in lbs/kg and in kg-only versions.
The seca 703s model scale comes with front-mounted measuring rod with an extended measuring range up to 90 inches / 230 cm.
