The Shorr Knee-Height Caliper is a high-quality sturdy measuring tool that is commonly used as a proxy for height in people who cannot stand up independently, including geriatric subjects. The long tube is made of strong anodized aluminum. The Shorr Knee-Height Caliper’s 1-inch square anodized aluminum rod has a smooth-sliding synthetic “arm”.  The black synthetic slider arm, which slides smoothly up and down the tube, is non-bending for accuracy.  There are measuring tapes on 2 sides of the caliper so that either the left leg or the right leg can be measured. The Shorr Knee-Height Caliper is easy to use and easy to read, with a 80 cm x 0.1 cm capacity.
